Mission
Our
mission is to provide our customers with cost efficient, real time SCADA
applications that are OPEN, reliable, robust and flexible. We are committed to the OPEN systems
concept, as we believe it is in the best interest of the customer, and
therefore in our best interest.
Founded in 1982, DrSCADA Automation has become a
multi-disciplined team of professionals involved in various aspects of
automation, real-time programming, hardware and software development. Until 1991, our only product was our
DrSCADA master software and related consulting services. After using third party RTU hardware
for some time, we had a number of concerns that we believed we could solve by
designing our own hardware. We
wanted products that were more robust and more flexible, would provide long
term support for our customers, and were less costly. As a result, we created the entry level
DC200 panel products, and went on to add the 32 bit high performance DC800 and
Intelligate RTUs, as well as significant updates to our DrSCADA master.
Since then, we acquired the sales and service rights for
private label products we had developed for two different resellers. We continue to work directly with the
new customer base, providing ongoing, cost-effective support for these
products which continue to be vital elements of customer operations, well
known and widely deployed throughout the world. Our array of products and protocols
also allows those same customers to migrate to new systems without the cost of
a fork lift upgrade. We continue today working
with our customers to meet their SCADA needs as they see them, providing
consulting, masters, RTUs, protocols and complete SCADA systems.
