DrSCADA Automation API2540
Liquid Flow Metering RTU features also include:
• handling liquids under the API Tables 53
& 54A, B & C and NGLs under TP25 Tables 23 & 24E
• single or dual pulse hardware meter
inputs (< 3 to > 6 volt
signals)
• isolated analog inputs
• accepts live or manual temperature and
density values
• 3 densities can come from our
densitometer unit which converts pulse inputs to densities
• can configure pseudo meters to add up
other meters
• 8 serial channels (up to 57.6 kbaud)
The unit can be scaled from handling
one or up to a maximum of 42 meters and retain 25 tickets per meter. Its also has the added benefits of
producing an audit trail of the last 100 events and the last 100 alarms is
maintained in the RTU memory.
This information can be printed hard copy to a local printer for
detailed analysis. The LFC800 calculates flow weighted
average values for temperature, density, pressure, %S&W, K factor, and
Meter Factor. Density inputs can be
manual or live from instruments.
Flow measurements can be taken from pulse inputs on single or dual pulse devices, as
well as reading flow from smart devices such as a Coriolis Mass Meter.
LFC800
Pipeline Liquid Measurement
The LFC800 is an RTU designed for
petroleum liquid pipeline applications.
It supports API 2540 petroleum liquid measurement, and
also functions as an integration point for multiple smart devices at a pipeline site.
The units integral keypad and LCD
allow local display and configuration changes, and an optional local serial
printer can provide hard copies of ticketed volumes. Technicians would use our UPL (User
Programmable Logic) in a standard text language, which can
support downloading and uploading of the RTU memory. The LFC800 can use Hart protocol to talk to
tank gauging devices, use DF1 protocol to talk to one or more Allen-Bradley
PLCs, and support Modbus for talking to a host or other local intelligent
devices.
