DrSCADA is a registered trademark and a division of Daniel Computing Systems Inc.  Daniel Computing is a Canadian corporation incorporated in 1982, located in Calgary.  We manufacture industrial software and industrial electronics for Canadian and international customers.  We also provide consulting and field services primarily for businesses operating in the oil fields of Western Canada, through the dealership PhD Field Services Inc.  We introduced the DrSCADA trademark and division name to provide a better focus in our name for the general public on what we do, and to reduce confusion with other firms whose names begin with Daniel.  In order to meet provincial legal requirements for Alberta, we hold a permit to practice engineering from APEGGA, the provincial engineering association. SCADA is an industry standard acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition - another way to say remote measurement and control systems.
